In order to ensure we provide the correct care to the correct patient, we will ALWAYS ask you to provide your name and date of birth. Additionally, we will ask  you to present your DOD ID card to verify your eligibility for care. The DoD ID Card verification by Martin Army Community Hospital is a similar process that other healthcare entities utilize when asking for an insurance card.

Thank you for choosing Martin Army Community Hospital for your medical care.

About Us

Graduate Medical Education

The Defense Health Agency Graduate Medical Education Program is the premiere platform for producing Medical Corps officers who are:
  • Expert clinicians,
  • Trained to the scope of practice required in the operational force, and
  • Adjusted to the military Medical Corps culture and environment
The DHA GME platform trains more than 3,000 U.S. military officers annually in 25 teaching hospitals, hosting our 216 training programs. Two hundred programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. While the remaining programs are not formally recognized by the ACGME, they are recognized by their associated specialty boards as qualified training programs.
