Martin Army Community Hospital (MACH) Labor and Delivery (L&D) will be on full divert status (emergency OB care only) starting November 1 for the next 30-120 days due to an OB nursing shortage. During this time, MACH L&D will have very limited staff and will only be able to support obstetric emergencies. Most newborns will need to be delivered at one of our civilian network hospitals.  Labor and Delivery Page

Walk-in Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the Martin Army Community Hospital walk-in contraceptive clinic.

All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.

The clinic is open every Wednesday, 8 a.m. - noon, and is located in the Women's Health Clinic, fifth floor of the hospital.

Services Offered

We offer the following products and services:
  • Contraceptive counseling
  • Prescription of short-acting contraception (pills, patch, ring, Depo-Provera injection, etc.)
  • Placement or removal of long-acting contraception (IUD, Nexplanon)

How it Works

Active duty service members are encouraged to utilize the “Decide and Be Ready” app to research methods of contraception before arriving to the clinic. Decide + Be Ready

Upon arrival, you will be given an intake sheet to fill out. Female patients will give a urine sample for a pregnancy test. You will then get to speak with a provider about your contraceptive needs.
