Visitor Guidelines

Hospital Security

ALL VISITORS (on official business or visiting a patient) must obtain a 'visitors pass' from the Martin Army Community Hospital Security Office. The Security Office is located on the first floor of Martin Army Community Hospital, across the front information desk. 

Guidelines for all entering the Hospital

  1. All visitors are encouraged to use the hand sanitizers conveniently located throughout MACH after entering MACH, upon leaving a patient’s room, and upon exiting MACH.
  2. All visitors should limit their movement within MACH to their necessary medical destination to decrease interaction with others.
  3. All visitors should follow respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette precautions.
    1. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, or your sleeve, when coughing or sneezing.
    2. Use the nearest waste receptacle to dispose of the tissue after use.
    3. Perform hand hygiene after having contact with respiratory secretions.
  4. Visitors are not allowed in a patient's room during aerosol producing procedures.

Parking 

There are designated parking spaces for:

  • Patients (Basement through Rooftop of Patient Parking Garage excluding spaces listed below)
  • Expectant Mothers (14 spaces on 1st Floor of patient parking garage)
  • Electric Vehicles ( 5 spaces, 2 spaces with charger access on 1st Floor of patient parking garage)
  • Patients/Staff with a valid, state-issued handicapped placard (must be displayed when parked)
  • Hospital-issued government vehicles
  • Motorcycles spaces on 1st Floor of patient parking garage
  • Hospital Staff (employees including contractors) (Staff Parking Garage, basement and rooftop Patient Parking Garage)
