We are pleased to offer our patients multiple ways to receive their prescriptions. Please see below for options to activate new prescriptions. If you have a prescription from a TRICARE network or non-network doctor, you may fill it here, as long as it’s available on our Basic Core Formulary. Call us at 762-408-2172 to see if your drug is available. We provide up to a 90-day supply for most drugs.
Our Military Pharmacy Services
Maintenance Drugs
Maintenance drugs are those you take regularly for a chronic condition (i.e., drugs to control blood pressure or cholesterol).All beneficiaries must refill certain maintenance drugs through home delivery or at military pharmacies. This does not apply to active duty service members.
Search the List of Maintenance Drugs to see if you have a prescription you should have transferred to be filled here at Martin Army Community Hospital or via home delivery.
Transferring Prescriptions
If you have prescriptions at a TRICARE network pharmacy, you may transfer your prescriptions to our military pharmacy. Call the Express Scripts Member Choice center at 877-882-3335 to learn more about prescription transfers.
Basic Core Formulary
All military pharmacies have a Basic Core Formulary. The Basic Core Formulary is a list of drugs that are available at all full-service military pharmacies. Call us at 762-408-2172 to see if your drug is available.
Active duty service members have a $0 copayment for covered drugs at any pharmacy.
The TRICARE Formulary is a list of generic and brand-name prescription drugs covered by TRICARE. You can search the to:

- Get the prior authorization and medical necessity forms for your prescription
Filling Prescriptions
New Prescriptions
If your provider is located at our facility:
- Your doctor can send it to the pharmacy electronically
- You can turn in a paper prescription at the pharmacy
If your provider is a civilian TRICARE-authorized one, call our pharmacy at 762-408-2172 to see if your drug is available.
If yes:
- Ask your provider to send the prescription electronically,
- Bring your paper prescription here to be filled
If no:
- Fill your prescription using home delivery, or at a network pharmacy
Refills
It’s easy to refill your prescription at Martin Army Community Hospital. If you’re a registered user on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, you may be able to order refills online. If not, call our pharmacy at 762-408-2172 to complete your refill.
Prescription Pick-up
You can wait for your prescription to be filled, or drop-off and pick it up later.
You can also take advantage of the new Q-Anywhere system to plan for and reduce your prescription wait time.
Q- Anywhere
Remote Pharmacy Check-In Using Q-Anywhere
Now you can reduce your wait time at the pharmacy for new or renewal prescriptions. Martin Army Community Hospital now offers remote pharmacy check-in using Q-Anywhere. With Remote Pharmacy Check-In, you can activate your prescription with a simple text message from your phone. <Q-Anywhere is currently available at the Hospital Pharmacy.
To use Remote Pharmacy Check-In with Q-Anywhere
Using your cell phone, text “Get in line” to Martin Army Community Hospital at 833-457-2013.
Enter your DOD ID number to check in remotely and automatically activate all your new prescriptions.
The pharmacy will process all your NEW/RENEWAL prescriptions (NO REFILLS) and will send you a text when they’re ready for pickup.
- Prescriptions activated before 12 p.m. can be picked up the next day after 12 p.m.
- Prescriptions activated after 12 p.m. can be picked up after the second business day.
- *You do not need to wait in the pharmacy while your medications are being processed. *
- Once you arrive to the Pharmacy lobby, please take a “Return for Pickup” ticket from the kiosk and wait to be called.
- You may receive a text message notification if additional documents are required, or medication is out of stock.
