*Allergy/Immunology Services Update*
Effective 1 April 2022, Martin Army Community Hospital (MACH) will limit Allergy/Immunology services to those who are currently receiving immunization therapy. The reason for this change is the current Allergist will be retiring without an anticipated replacement. We are attempting to hire a civilian Allergist, but in the absence of an Allergist on the ground at MACH, we are transitioning current Allergy patients to the TRICARE Network in a safe and timely manner over the next several months. We want to ensure your continuity of care through careful coordination. An off-site Allergist will provide medical oversight during the transition and we will partner with Referral Management and Beneficiary Services to ensure smooth transitions. In anticipation of this reduction in services, the MACH Allergy Clinic will no longer see new patients. We apologize for the inconvenience to our patients and will continue to serve your healthcare needs.

Child Automobile Seat Check
Do you want an experienced individual to check your child’s car seat? Did you know you can call (762) 408-2139 and Fort Benning EMS will set up a time for you to come in for an inspection or install?
Fort Benning EMS also has the program “STAR kids” in coordination with our Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). With the parents’ permission, EMS will come out and document any special needs children and keep track in a book kept inside the EMS office for pertinent information to dispatch an ambulance in the event of a medical emergency at their residence on post. EMS also tracks “runners” with pictures to aid in getting children back where they belong as quickly as possible. If this is of interest to you, please contact Fort Benning EMS at (762) 408-2139 or Capt. Nicholas Lawson at (762) 408-2315 and we will put you in touch with our STAR kids personnel.
